Katie Price’s lover, Alex Reid,  has confessed to her that he is secretly a cross-dresser.

And friends of Katie Price, say she is “100 per cent behind him and totally comfortable” with him dressing up in women’s clothes in private.

One source said: “Jordan is very laid back about the fact it’s been revealed.

“She is always of the opinion that the truth will always come out and so it is better to be upfront with things.

“Alex is not ashamed in the slightest. On the contrary, he thinks the subject matter is totally misunderstood.

“He’s been totally upfront and honest with Kate and she is cool with it.

“Kate is very open minded sexually and very little can shock her.

“They are really happy together and nothing can break the special bond
they share. Kate is nothing if not loyal.

“She’ll stick with him through thick and thin. Nothing fazes her.”

Katie even named her new dressage horse after his fetish. She wrote on Twitter: “I’m calling it Jordan’s Cross Dresser.”

Alex and Katie go running together, most recently for charity on Sunday.
Speaking of his love for her, Alex has said: “We have an amazing connection. We just want to be a normal couple.”

Alex has refused to comment on his cross-dressing fetish.

Meanwhile Katie is plans to reinvent herself as a hip hop star.

After rubbing shoulders with rap stars Nelly and Nas backstage at Orange Rockcorps, the mother of three said: “I’d definitely like to do another album and I’d love it to be hip hop or R&B.

“I’d like to collaborate with Nelly, or P Diddy. I’ve always liked their music.”

Katie Price stated she would ‘absolutely never’ name the celebrity she claims raped her and has no plans to make an official report to police.

The 30-year-old glamour model phoned Channel 5′s The Wright Stuff this morning after watching the panel debate her decision to say she had been sexually assaulted by a celebrity.

Katie said she was ‘livid’ at the storm that had been whipped up around her allegations and denied they were a cynical publicity stunt.

Speaking to show host Matthew Wright, she said: ‘I’m sitting here watching the programme – we’re all here doing a shoot.

‘Thanks for sticking up for me Matthew – you understand the media.

‘I haven’t just come out and said I got raped, I was actually sticking up for Alex.

‘It come out in the newspapers that he was doing this rape thing and I stuck up for him in my OK column.

‘I would never do something like that for sympathy. It has all got out of context, I think it is really out of order to say I would do it for sympathy I would never do that.’

Katie claims she would never use the crime to promote herself and said she never thought it would be all over the papers.

She said: ‘I am absolutely livid. I have mentioned it in my column, then I did a shoot with the kids and the press have gone on and on about it.

I am absolutely livid – they dig and dig and dig.

I don’t make a joke about it – it is a serious matter. I woke up this morning and it’s over the front of the newspapers.’

When asked whether she would go to the police, she replied: ‘It happened absolutely years ago and like anyone, it’s just a hard thing to do.

‘It’s been done now, what do you do? I would say if something happens you should go to the police.

‘It was definitely rape – I didn’t consent to it.’

Wright then asked the mother of three Katie if she would go on to name her attacker and said that speculation was rife about who it could be.

But she replied: ‘Never, never, absolutely not.’

Katie said: ‘I can understand that as well but I’m not here to say who it is. I’m a victim, it happened to me.’

She continued: ‘Well really, I haven’t slept with that many people, it’s just the papers make out that I had. It happened absolutely years ago before Pete.

‘I’m shocked it’s come out just because I’m sticking up for Alex. I just have to ride the storm.’

Katie Price has suffered yet another blow after having to pull out of a celebrity polo with a knee injury.

Jordan was due to lead a team at the British Open Show Jumping Championships but was forced to sit the match out – and hand out autographs instead.

Dressed in a pink t-shirt and white jodhpurs, she signed autographs and posed happily for pictures.

Katie and husband Peter Andre took their children – Harvey, Junior and Princess Tiaamii – for lunch at Greek restaurant Taverna Tony before Katie and her little girl headed off for some shoe shopping in the afternoon.

The family moved to Los Angeles at the start of the year so that Peter could work on his new album and to have access to better school and medical facilities for son Harvey.

While making their way to the terminal, Katie ended up grabbing a camera herself, filming material while waiting in line at the ticket counter.

Katie Price has reportedly picked up a new horse awaiting her return back home in London.

The mother-of-three tells: “When we move back from L.A., I’ve got lots of riding plans for the rest of the year. I’m going to enter loads of dressage competitions, both on Jordan’s Glamour Girl and my new horse, Jordan’s Player.”

Katie Price showed off her modeling moves while promoting her new range of nightwear for Asda in a photo shoot.

The nightwear supplements the lingerie line she already sells through the George supermarket brand and will be launched in stores in December.

During the shoot, the mum of three made sure to reveal her super-skinny belly, and show that unlike new enemy I’m a Celebrity’s Nicola McLean, she doesn’t have any stretch marks.

Katie Price has been named Britain’s Best-Loved Celebrity Mum.

30-year-old Price, who lives in Woldingham, claimed the title in a poll of 3,000 mums.

She outranked  Myleene Klass and Victoria Beckham, as well as actresses Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow.

“She copes admirably with her disabled son Junior and gives hope to many other families who have to cope with illness or disabilities.

The study also revealed 55 per cent of mums said they admired celebrities who didn’t rely on nannies to bring up their children.

Glamour model, Katie Price is said to be trying to gain weight in an effort to please her husband, Peter Andre.

“Katie’s been taking Peter’s good nature for granted. She just can’t keep embarrassing him by falling out of clubs, risking her life having unnecessary plastic surgery and remaining worryingly thin,” a source told Now.

“She’s now going to go easy on the partying and has already started tucking into carbs.

“She’s obviously still quite thin, but Pete loves her new figure… She’s now eating heartier meals like chips and roast dinners.”
