Peter Andre was a lonely figure in LA yesterday as rumors surrounding the state of his marriage to Katie Price continued to grow.

Andre appeared deep in thought and sad as he ate lunch with his brother at Le Petit Four restaurant. More than 6,000 miles away, it was business as usual for Price, who was promoting her new electrical haircare range at an appearance at Superdrug in London’s Oxford Street

However, there was one accessory definitely absent from her over-the-top outfit – her wedding ring.

Andre flew to the U.S. alone this week, and the couple were spotted on the same night at two separate clubs.

In the past few weeks, Katie seems to have morphed back into her Jordan alter ego, after being photographed stumbling out of nightclubs is a variety of skimpy outfits.

Andre, 35, has admitted that he hates it when his 30-year-old wife drinks.

He said: ‘I trust her when she’s sober, but I don’t trust her when she’s drinking.

‘It makes our relationship vulnerable. From the moment she starts drinking I lose her and I won’t get her back until the next morning.’

A friend told the Daily Star: ‘She and Peter seem to be heading in totally different directions.

‘He is not happy that Kate appears to be turning back into party girl Jordan.’

In defence of her nights out, she said: ‘I don’t care what people say – I’m guilty of having a drink. Big deal.’

Earlier in the month, Price admitted she has walked out on Andre after a serious arguments and didn’t return for several days.

She said: ”I did walk out on him and we didn’t see or speak to each other for a couple of days.

‘We’re in love for God’s sake. We are not breaking up.

‘I think people watch our show and think that we row all the time, but you show me a couple who don’t bicker.

‘That’s all it is with us, it’s just bickering. If we didn’t have rows on the show, people would say it was fake.’

PETER ANDRE looked as if he was drowning his sorrows in LA yesterday while rumors were circulating about the state of his marriage to Katie.

The singer was with his brother at Le Petit Four restaurant, having lunch and appeared to be deep in thought.

The couple admitted that they have had some “big fights” recently and Andre allegedly walked out a couple of weeks ago due to Katie’s heavy drinking.

Katie Price, has been reliving her partying days of late, namely last Wednesday when she met up with PARIS HILTON at Movida’s relaunch.

However, Peter has admitted through his magazine column that he doesn’t much mind her going out.

Peter told New! magazine: “She hardly ever lets her hair down, so when she does I’m more than happy for her to have a good time.

“I go out a lot, too – it’s just that the places I go to don’t usually have paps outside!”

Katie Price decided to not get dressed up for a book signing for once. And apparently, people are, like, all up in arms about it. Seriously, why are you so shocked? Because she doesn’t look like she belongs in a drag queen cabaret on the Strip? Don’t be. Seriously, Katie Price will wear whatever gets her attention. This time, it happened to be pajamas. Oh Katie, you’re so whimsical and down to Earth because you dare to wear something schlubby looking. Your publicity stunt worked, I love you now.

Ok, maybe that’s a bit hopeful. But Katie Price, AKA Jordan, has declared to the Mail that she is serious about taking part in the 2012 Olympics, adding: ‘Never underestimate Pricey.’

Katie dressed the part in a traditional black outfit and her hair was a horse’s tail. But you can’t take the glamour out of the glamour girl and so our Katie glittered up her outfit with sparkles here and there.

The Mail also unveils her as the face of Hoof, “a campaign run by the British Equestrian Federation, which aims to encourage inner-city children to take up riding in time for the London Olympics.” Well done there Katie, and for that, no cheap Hoof jokes.

In fact, no more joking at all, for I can still hear her words ringing in my head… ‘Never underestimate Pricey.’
